Our schedules are developed respecting a safety crowding index
Columbus staff members wear masks and constantly sanitize their hands; health staff also wears waterproof scrubs and visors; environments are sanitized as per the recommendations provided for against the risk of infection
All patients who are to undergo surgery must perform molecular testing through nasopharyngeal swab
Rapid diagnostic tests are NOT ACCEPTED
ENTRANCE TO THE FACILITY
Access to those with flu symptoms and temperatures above 37.5 °C is prohibited
A thermal scanner with integrated GreenPass reader captures the body temperatures of anyone entering the Clinic
You will be asked to sanitize your hands at the special dispensers inside the Columbus Clinic
As a precaution, patients are required to wear FFP2 masks
It is not allowed to remove masks except for medical indications; it is not possible to drink or eat on the premises of the Clinic

Only one person without accompanying persons will be allowed access to the facility
INPATIENT AND OUTPATIENT SURGERY:
It is mandatory to undergo a molecular nasopharyngeal swab test for COVID-19 prior to the hospitalization
All patients booked for surgery will be required to provide a negative molecular nasopharyngeal swab test result performed 48 hours before surgery
The report of an antigen rapid test result is not accepted
It is possible to book the swab test with the Clinic
Preventive home isolation is recommended until the day of hospitalization
In the event of a positive response to the swab test, the patient will be notified directly by the referring doctor of the Clinic and the surgery will be canceled
ACCOMPANYING PERSONS during in-patient treatment
During hospital admission, patients can be assisted by an accompanying person only if the following requirements are met:
There should be one accompanying person only for each patient; this applies also in case of minors, with one parent only allowed to assist the child (no parent shifts)
The accompanying person shall submit a negative COVID-19 nasopharyngeal swab test result carried out within the last 48 hours of arrival
Antigenic rapid swab test results are not accepted
The accompanying person will assist the patient and leave the Clinic only upon discharge (no in and outs are permitted)
Only one visitor is allowed at a time, for a maximum of 60 minutes. Visitors are required to exhibit a reinforced GreenPass or a basic GreenPass + molecular or rapid antigenic swab test performed within the last 48 hours for admission.
Visitors must show up wearing an FFP2 mask
NO ACCOMPANYING PERSONS ARE ALLOWED IN FOR OUTPATIENT SURGERY – except for entitled patients (minors or disabled)
OUTPATIENT VISITS (INCLUDING INTERMEDICA) AND DOCUMENT COLLECTION AT THE FRONT DESK (NO ACCOMPANYING PERSON except for entitled patients):
PHYSIOTHERAPY AND GYM
Physiotherapy services are limited to patients in the Clinic, who have already exhibited a negative swab result upon admission
Outpatients and group course participants cannot access the facility
RECEPTION AND WAITING ROOM
Follow the instructions of the staff to avoid crowds
Respect social distancing wherever you are
Use chairs where available, without moving them: they are positioned in compliance with safety standards set for people and staff members alike
Please, be on time and avoid staying within the facility unnecessarily
